Katie and I were in the checkout line at Wal*Mart this evening and Katie kept sneaking glances behind us. :) After a few minutes she said "Mama, there's a kid!" and I told her that it was a boy, not a "kid" haha :)
Anyway, this cute little boy said hi to Katie and she said hi back (while blushing a little bit and hiding behind her hands) :)
He smiled, she giggled, and then he tickled her on the cheek. She giggled LOTS more, and said "You silly boy!" and kept straining to see him while I was putting the bags in the cart.
When we had to leave she said "Bye boy!" and he said bye to her too...once we got out to our car she said "Where's the boy?" so I told her that he had to stay with his Daddy. ;)
We were pulling into our carport when Katie said "Where's the boy?! I gotta show Daddy!" :) :)
HAHA!!! :) Way too young to be bringing boys home to meet Daddy, sister! ;)
I thought all had been forgotten until just a few minutes ago, I was rocking her and reading her bedtime stories when she said "Mama? That boy...he tickled me...so silly!" "Where's the boy? I like him! I gotta tell him nite nite" :)
And then....she whispered "I love you, boy!"
True story. Did I mention that he had to be at least 6 or 7?? She likes older men. :)

Oh, Charin! That is the funniest and sweetest and most romantic little true story and I LOVE it! I am in a very grumpy mood and it made me smile! Poor little Katie, she is love sick. :)
That is sooooo cute! They do learn early!!! We were in Western Sizzlin at Harrison yesterday and a little girl(about 3-4) told her mama and daddy that she was going to marry a young man that had stopped at her table!!! Then she became very serious after telling them a few times and said I HAVE to marry him!!!! We could only laugh but I don't think her mama and daddy were laughing as much as us! Children......I love them!!!! Now if that came out of my 15 year olds mouth somehow it would not be quite as humerous{I would have to hide her somewhere!} =O
Aww :) I'm glad that sharing it made other people smile too! :)
awww, adorable!
That is so hilarious!!! She is WAY too young to be in love, though, in Auntie's opinion. ;) I have been missing your blog...finally got a few free minutes at the library to check it out... I have missed it!!
